Sundays In Bed With... Forever and Fragments of the Lost

Welcome to our Sundays In Bed With… Meme! The meme that dares to ask what book has been in your bed this morning? Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

We’re done trying to make this a blog hop, but still feel free to participate!  Maybe someday we’ll try to make it happen as a blog hop again, but right now we feel like Gretchen trying to make ‘fetch’ happen.

This morning Kim is reading:

Kim's days of freedom are dwindling, soon she will be all about school and her math kids.  I try not to even bother Kim at all in September, because really, she's too busy and even if she's not busy with work, homework, etc, then she's exhausted.  Hopefully she'll get a few more books squeezed in before school starts!

This morning Kate is reading:

Fragments of the Lost by Megan Miranda

I started a quick re-read of this because I'm hosting a discussion on it for Fountain of Youth, the YA for Adults who read YA book club at my store. I love Miranda's books, and this might be my all time favorite.  I love the twists and complicated relationships, the mystery that lies hidden underneath what starts out as a simple packing up a room after a death.  Jessa is definitely a heroine to root for, and the fragments of her relationship with Caleb, interspersed by her memories of her friendship with Max, is just really, really well done.  So glad I'm visiting these characters again!
