Sundays In Bed With... Three Little Words and Enchantee

Welcome to our Sundays In Bed With… Meme! The meme that dares to ask what book has been in your bed this morning? Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

We’re done trying to make this a blog hop, but still feel free to participate!  Maybe someday we’ll try to make it happen as a blog hop again, but right now we feel like Gretchen trying to make ‘fetch’ happen.

This morning Kim is reading:

Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday

Kate here for Kim: It's a snowy/rainy/sleety day here, so hopefully Kim is curled up reading... and she might be tomorrow depending on how bad the roads are.  This actually looks adorable, Kim!  I've been reading more romances lately, and Kim normally recommends good contemporary romances for me- hope this one is good!

This morning Kate is reading:

Enchantée by Gita Trelease

Magic and Revolution!  Well, I haven't got to the revolution part yet, but the extreme poverty of main character Camille's world vs. the extreme wealth of Marie Antoinette's court is staggering.  Camille is the oldest sister (and middle child), struggling to keep her little sister fed and healthy and housed, while her older brother gambles, drinks, and turns violent.  Throw in a gorgeous young man and a hot air balloon, Camille's growing use of forbidden magic, and royal gambling halls, and you have this gorgeous book!  Loving it so far, and I'm hoping to make some time for it today... but I'm working at the bookstore, so it's harder to get any reading done.
